Clinics

Condors and Birdies and Eagles, Oh My!

Learn the game, improve your skills, meet your neighbors and just have a good old time. Golf clinics are a staple of golf instruction and a way to have fun while learning.

Director of Golfer Development, Trey Daughtridge, offers an extremely extensive line of golf instruction. One segment of this Golfer Development system is golf clinics. The clinics are divided into a number of categories such as seniors, ladies, juniors and men. The clinic curriculum is built from the hole backwards and is tailored to all skill levels. Clinic curriculum takes one step farther away from the hole each week, starting with short putting and eventually ending in driving distance. The clinic schedule is posted each month in the Riverwood Life magazine. Call or come by the Golf Pro Shop to sign up.

Seminars

The Rules of Golf (Or Learn How to Hit a Shot, Kill the Ball and Get Out of Jail)

The rules of golf are very important to the integrity of the game. That’s why we offer Rules Clinics for the public and membership. They are an interactive way of learning the rules as opposed to a stuffy classroom-style setting. We will also offer quite a few Golfer Development seminars that will explore topics such as the mental game, driving distance, shot strategy and short game creativity. Seminars usually take place in the Riverwood Golf Pro Shop and are open to approximately 20 people. Spots fill up fast, so call or come by to sign up and experience the game of golf in a whole new way.
